Why your company should be high on high-deductible health plans

It’s hard to pinpoint the date the first high-deductible plan was brought to market, but they started gaining attention around the same time I started my firm in the early 2000s, and I must admit, in those days I was not a huge supporter. So I can relate when an employer says, “They’re inexpensive because they cover less — we want good plans for our employees.” But after years of working in the industry, I’ve turned into their biggest supporter.
